Park Circle Townhouse- easy commute to campus, walking distance to parks/restraunts

This is a fabulous townhouse in the heart of Park Circle. The property is located in the highly desired Oak Terrace Preserve neighborhood. This neighborhood was intentionally designed to embrace the beauty of Charleston. Homes are colorfully painted... in Charleston rainbow colors. All of the Live Oaks have been preserved with walking paths, 2 playgrounds, and dozens of pocket parks. This home is perfect for families or young professionals. It is close to Park Circle restaurants, the world's largest accessible playground, and the new community sports complex. The commute to MUSC is also fantastic- it is one of the few places in Charleston with a short commute and multiple routes home that don't cross a bridge (key for those who have had the unfortunate experience of being stuck for hours due to bridge closures).

This townhouse is an end unit with a large side yard. It is also across the street from a large open field, neighborhood pocket park. There is an enormous master bedroom upstairs with dual walk-in closets. The connected ensuite bathroom has a linen closet and dual shower heads in the tub/shower combo. There is a second smaller bedroom and full bathroom upstairs as well as a hall linen closet.

Downstairs, there is a 3rd small bedroom (we used as an office) and a half bath. The downstairs has an open floor plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen microwave and dishwasher were replaced in the last year. We also installed an undersink water filter system with a separate water faucet. Off the living room, there is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. We also used this area to store all our kids' toys. There is also a half bath off the living room.

Outside, there is a screened-in back porch with overhead lights and a ceiling fan. There is also a small outdoor shed. The driveway is large enough for 2 cars and a golf cart. There is also plenty of street parking available in front of the house.

This townhouse is within walking distance to the local primary school, as well as the academic magnet school and the school of the arts. Every morning you will see families walking their children to school. This neighborhood has a wonderful community feel. The HOA sponsors weekly food trucks to come to one of the pocket parks and quarterly large events.

This has been a family home for the last 5 years. We love this property and love to see it serve the needs of another member of the MUSC community.
