This is a duplex. Each floor has 3 BR, 2 BA, entry hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, and front and back porches. The house has hardwood floors in all the rooms except the bathrooms and kitchens, which are tile. Kitchens and bathrooms were... updated within the last five years, new appliances and light fixtures, and all the rooms have ceiling fans. Utilities are included, gas and electric, water, monthly pest control and periodic yard maintenance. We do not provide wifi. The rate quoted is PER BEDROOM. The private bathroom in the bedroom up front is $1200/month. The back bedrooms sharing the larger bath are $1100 per month. Utilities and pest control for each unit average $150 per person per month, so take that into account in rent comparisons. The exterior is hardie plank and it's well insulated, which is why we can include gas and electric. We also have linens and towels for all rooms, as well as kitchen equipment and tableware, since we often rent to internationals. No additional furniture can be moved in, but if you have linens you prefer, or special pans or dishes, there is room for those.

We are all female upstairs, and all male downstairs. I will have at least one opening upstairs for a female. The date there is uncertain, as my current tenant and her fellow are buying a house, but I will post the exact date as soon as I have it. The two ladies remaining are a pharmacy student at MUSC and an ICU nurse. Downstairs, in the "male" apartment, our tenant had to unexpectedly return to Turkey because of a family emergency (ROOM OPENS APRIL 1st) and the second has his family arriving from California, and will be moving to Mt. Pleasant (ROOM OPENS JULY 1st).

IF YOU NEED A SPOT FOR A ROTATION, there is an opportunity to take a downstairs room between April 1 and July 30 on a shorter term basis, so please ask. Two six week rotations would be ideal, but we would also consider one person for six to eight weeks, if you don't need the whole period.
